Blu won “Hot New Artist” at the China Metro Music Awards in 2005 and he also received an RIAA Certified Gold Record for his self-penned song “Miracles Happen” from the soundrack of the blockbuster Disney film Princess Diaries 2!

Miracles Happen [from the "Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement" Soundtrack
Jonny Blu wrote and performed this song in the blockbuster Disney film "Princess Diaries 2: A Royal Engagement", starring Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews. His song and the soundtrack went on to receive a RIAA Certified Gold Record with over 800,000 units sold and it earned a #15 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, as well as a #1 spot on the Top Soundtracks chart!
