In 2004, Jonny Blu was the first ever non-Chinese artist to sign with a Chinese music label (See Music, Ltd. 汉星音乐公司) in Hong Kong and he went on to achieve pop music stardom in the Chinese music world, with three top ten hit songs and a win of “Hot New Artist” at the 2005 Hong Kong Metro Music Awards. Blu still continues to perform his pop music hits in China and around the world, with his concert “Jonny Blu: Pop Hits Of China” and he is set to release his second full Chinese album in the Fall of 2020.
