For over a decade, Jonny Blu has been a popular host for television shows in the United States and China. He has hosted multiple hit shows, including the documentary travel series, “The Earth-shaking Long March” in China and the hit music competition show “American Stars”. He continues to host and perform at live events all over the world.
Jonny Blu’s first big screen appearance was a cameo in the Disney blockbuster The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement in 2005. Since then, he has appeared in several Chinese television programs and recently filmed his first starring role in the Chinese action film “Death Mist”. Blu is also a 20+ year teacher and student of Shaolin Kung Fu, Kenpo Karate, Limalama, Tai Chi and Chinese Qi Gong. He is an official inductee into “The Kenpo Continuum (Volume 2)” pantheon of Kenpo instructors worldwide. In December 2012, Blu was officially recognized with the title of “Sifu” (Teacher) by the Grandmasters of the Whipping Willow Association.
